Puran Maher

Puran Maher was born on June 4^th,1996. She studied her primary and secondary school in Herat at Razi School, and high school at Tajrebawy girls high school; and graduated from high school in 2013. Mmeanwhile, in 2012, she graduated from Advanced English Courses at Skills Training Center, Herat, Afghanistan; since then, she teaches English. In 2014, after passing the National Kankor Exam successfully, she got admission to English Language and Literature Department of Education Faculty, Herat University. In December 2017, she graduated from this Department. During her last year of studies at Herat University, she taught the General English of the other faculties such as Sociology, History, Psychology and other departments of this faculty in the afternoon. After her graduation, she moved to Kabul from Herat and started her job in Cheragh Medical University as ESP instructor. With her new job start up, she started her Masters studies in Shaheed Rabbani Education where she did her MA in TESOL.

After one year of teaching ESP in 3 faculties of Cheragh University and showing her competency and diligence, she was selected as the chief of General Science department there, plus as a trainer in gender and the active member of quality assurance committees. Later, after graduation from MA studies in 2019, she started teaching in AUAF as a part time EGP instructor; and ultimately in November 2020, she started her job as Associate Professor in Ghalib University.
